Savannah Craft Beer Week 2016 Kicks Off

Savannah Craft Beer Week 2016 got off to a great start last night with events at The Distillery, Green Truck Pub and Crystal Beer Parlor.

The Distillery’s annual ribbon cutting and celebration of Georgia beer went off without a hitch, with a solid crowd representing Savannah’s craft beer regulars and those new to the scene. Green Truck Pub’s first “Sausage Fest” was a fun themed evening with a special menu highlighting sausage and beers from Service Brewing Co. Crystal Beer Parlor hosted a night highlighting Avery Brewing Co. beers with an array of hard-to-find draft options.

Saturday night saw an “unofficial” kick off to Savannah Craft Beer Week as Coastal Empire Beer Co. celebrated its five year anniversary with a party featuring exclusive beers, live music from The Wave Slaves and Chazito’s Latin Cuisine.

Savannah Craft Beer Week continues tonight with Red Brick Night at Crystal Beer Parlor, Southbound Brewing at Green Truck and Service Brewing at Your Pie (Sandfly) with Brew / Drink / Run.
